Part of our Mission includes community outreach. Placitas Artists Series accomplishes this mission in several different ways, and with the financial assistance of grant funding and the generosity of sponsors, musicians, singers, local visual artists, and our dedicated volunteers. Placitas Artists Series partners with many community-based organizations to present programs for children, families, and the community in general. During April, May and June, we’ve partnered with the Santa Fe Opera to present a series of Opera Basics talks. More information is available on the desktop version of our website. Placitas Artists Series also provides blocks of concert tickets to community center managers throughout Sandoval county; these tickets are provided free to senior citizens so they can attend a concert.
